New English fighter Jack Cooper confirmed as replacement fighter competing in the World 4 man GP.
Cooper, a local fighter to Contender Promotions head quarters will take the place of Tony O’Brien who has been forced into withdrawing due to a back injury. O’Brien has reluctantly heeded the advice of his doctor and withdrew from the tournament pending surgery to repair damage to vertebrae. Everyone at Contender Promotions wishes him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back competing in the future.
Jack is a young up and coming Muay Thai fighter making his K-1 debut on Contender Promotions VIP Edition on May 30th.
The World 4 man GP for May now consists of the following athletes,
Netherlands – Augin Masoud
Lithuania’s – Alexander Akimov
Frances – Eddie Blaze
England’s – Jack Cooper
The goal for each fighter competing in the 4th GP in May is November 2015, where all 4 tournament winners will face it off in a one off battle to be crowned „The Lord of the Ring“

Also on the card for May 30th, Northeast favourite Daniel vs Bradfords own Lowes in a Superfight between 2 exceptionally entertaining men.
2 of the UK’s best Super Heavyweight fighters, James Cannon from the Northeast England trained by SuperKombat super star Micky Terrill will take on local big boy Darren Moffit of Combat Fight Club.
Up and coming Semi-pro fighter Justin Burlinson will battle it out with rising star Joe Roberts in a Contender Promotions 
Semi-Pro title bout.
